Highlighter is a Chrome extension that lets you draw colored highlight boxes and add personal memos on any web page. Your privacy is important to us, and this extension is designed to keep all your data local.
Highlighter does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. No analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind is used.
All data — including highlight boxes, memos, color preferences, and keyboard shortcut settings — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your browser.
